His Eminence, Metropolitan Gregory of Nyssa, is the spirtual leader of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese in North America, which maintains offices at 312 Garfield Street, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, 15906.
His Eminence was consecrated as Bishop and enthroned as the Ruling Hierarch of the Diocese on November 27, 2012.
His Eminence celebrates his Name's Day (St. Gregory Palamas) on November 14/27.
Under his care is our Diocesan Christ the Saviour Seminary, also in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, which trains future priests and deacons of our Diocese. In addition, the Diocese maintains Camp Nazareth Youth and Retreat Center in Mercer, Pennsylvania.
Metropolitan Gregory also serves as Episcopal Liaison to the Orthodox Christian Fellowship and Chairman of Committee for Agencies and Endorsed Organizations of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.

A native of Youngstown, Ohio and a life-long member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church of Warren, Ohio where he faithfully served as an altar server, reader, and subdeacon for many years, Fr. Nathaniel is a 2018 graduate of Christ The Saviour Seminary. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication from Kent State University. Fr. Nathaniel was ordained to the Holy Priesthood through the Ancient Rite of the Laying on of Hands by His Eminence, Metropolitan Gregory of Nyssa at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Warren Ohio, on September 30, 2018. He has served as Pastor of St. Mary's in Endicott, NY for 7 years, the director of the Diocesan Altar Boy Retreat for four years, and the news editor of the Church Messenger for three years.
Pani Nicole is a native of Stratford, Connecticut and a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist on Mill Hill. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Eastern Connecticut State University. In her love for animals, she has worked in multiple fields of animal care (especially Connecticut’s own Beardsley Zoo!). She is currently the tech and media intern for OYDNA (the Orthodox Youth Directors of North America).
After their marriage and ordination, Fr. Nathaniel and Pani Nicole began their ministry at St Mary's Church in Endicott, NY on October 15th, 2018. During their very blessed and loving tenure they welcomed their two daughters. Metropolitan Gregory reassigned them to be the new Director and family of Camp Nazareth in October of 2025.
